As a blogger, it is my job and personal interest to scan other blogs on the World Wide Web. I usually go to a blog I like, look for the blog roll list and check out a new blog. I did exactly that this morning, and clicked on a link to a blog I was very familiar with Black Girls Are Easy. Yes, you read that right. The title serves its purpose. Whether you hate it or love it, you end up going to the website to see what it is about. I personally love the blog. Although it is all entertainment and personal opinions of the author, I find it very informative. There are some things to learn about men and relationships from reading this blog.
Today on the other hand, what I learned scared the crap out of me. It was like going to church, listening to the sermon, and feeling like the pastor was talking to no one else in the congregation but me. The blog post was titled, “Are You Wifey or Are you P*ssy?” The picture totally gave me the wrong impression. It was a photo of Gloria Govan from Basketball Wives LA and her fiancée Matt Barnes of the Los Angeles Lakers. I thought the post was going to be about their relationship. On the contrary, the post was bout my relationship.
My favorite and scariest part of the post was reading that sex has an expiration date. P*ssy expires 3-4 months after the man first hits it. That is some funny mess, but it explains a lot.
Every paragraph I read slowly – hoping to read a point that had nothing to do with my relationship. I never found one. I am not saying that I am The P*ssy. I do have the title girlfriend. However, our relationship is leading toward being established as some of The P*ssy qualities.
Here are some of the questions that were asked in the post. I’m going to evaluate my 3 week relationship based off my answers.
Are you the type of woman he can spend all day talking to and has a connection deeper than the physical attraction or are you simply P*ssy? I’m not simply P*ssy, but we have not yet had a deep connection other than physical attraction. Does he take you out? Yes, although eating out are the only types of dates we’ve had, I haven’t been taken to fast food or popular food brand chains like Applebee’s, Friday’s or Long Horn. No, we haven’t been to the movies or the opera or checked out any jazz clubs either. Have you met his family? Not really. I met his niece who just moved to ATL from NY and is currently visiting at his spot. I do not know if that counts. I almost met his sister. He was having a gathering at the Ultimate Bar & Grill in Camp Creek , but she had to work. What do you talk about? Me: “I miss you”. Him: “I miss you more”. Seriously, I love music, and he plays the keyboard and does music engineering. Funny, we’ve yet to talk about music – or politics, religion, movies, books, education, pop culture or current events. Are you Jeopardy Girl or Family Feud Girl? I have beauty and brains. I’m a blogger. Obviously, there is something on my mind. Are you boring? No, I’m shy, but I am outgoing. He’s a quiet person too. I love attention, but I know how to entertain others. Are you Loyal? Taurus is my zodiac sign and, loyalty is in my nature. I have male friends, but he has extracurricular strip club Sunday activities. I’m not giving mine up until he gives up his.As Drake says, “I’m more than just an option.” I just have to figure how to show him and make him believe it. I do want something deeper than 9 inches and a text message.
It is imperative that I find out immediately how my “boo” sees me – at least before the 3-4 months p*ssy expiration date. How do I find out? If I test him out, will that be considered as “playing games”? What are some things I can do to establish myself as The Wifey and not The Pussy? I would love to hear from a woman who’s been in a relationship with a man more than 6 months, or a man who’s been having sex with the same woman more than the 4 months expiration time.
